A sense of the place

The LINQ Las Vegas is a Caesars hotel of about 2,250 rooms in the middle of the Strip, best known for what surrounds it: the 550-foot High Roller observation wheel, the FLY LINQ zipline and the outdoor LINQ Promenade. The hotel itself began life as the Flamingo Capri motel in 1959, later became the Imperial Palace and then The Quad, and took the name The Linq in October 2014 after a major renovation. Its casino is small, at about 33,890 square feet.

It sits right beside Harrah's, with Flamingo and Caesars Palace each roughly five minutes' walk away by third-party estimates. The LINQ Promenade is a pedestrian walkway of about 1,200 feet along the resort's south edge that leads to the High Roller. The Promenade was sold in 2024 to TPG Real Estate and Acadia Realty Trust for $275 million, so it is no longer part of the hotel's own property, although it feels like one place when you walk through.

The LINQ suits people who want a central location, a lower-key room than the big luxury towers and plenty to do outside the front door. It is a smaller, simpler resort than its neighbors, so look elsewhere if you want a huge casino, a big pool scene or high-end rooms. See the Strip hotels in order to compare it with the resorts around it.

What to look for

  • High Roller observation wheel: the High Roller is 550 feet (168 m) tall and was the world's tallest observation wheel when it opened in 2014. It is now the second tallest, behind Ain Dubai. A full turn takes about 30 minutes in one of 28 cabins that hold up to 40 riders each.

  • High Roller tickets and price: one third-party guide dated September 2026 lists adult tickets at about $23.50 for a daytime ride and about $34.75 for an anytime ride, before taxes and fees. Tour-operator listings show about $33. Prices and hours change, so check the official High Roller page when you book.

  • High Roller Happy Half Hour: a 21+ cabin with a bar runs the same 30-minute ride with drinks included. Guides put it from about $60 a person, and some quote more at night, so check the price and times before you buy. It has its own spot on the map as the High Roller Happy Half Hour.

  • FLY LINQ zipline: FLY LINQ opened in November 2018 and is billed as the only zipline on the Strip. You launch from a 114-foot tower and ride about 1,121 feet along 10 side-by-side lines, with a flight of roughly 35 to 45 seconds at up to 35 mph. A 2026 guide lists rides from about $30 to $35 by day and more at night. Check the price when you book, as other sources show higher figures.

  • LINQ Promenade: an open-air strip of shops, restaurants and bars that opened in stages from late 2013 into 2014. Our map lists spots such as In-N-Out Burger and Brooklyn Bowl along it. Tenants change often, so check what is open before you plan a meal.

  • Shows: summer 2026 listings showed the 90-minute magic show Mat Franco: Magic Reinvented Nightly at 7:00 and 9:30 pm, with tickets from about $62, and Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club with rotating headliners and tickets from about $39 to $49. Check current schedules and prices.

Before you go

  • Resort fee: about $55 plus tax a night. Check the total shown when you book.

  • Parking: self-parking was listed in May 2026 at about $20 Monday to Wednesday and $25 Thursday to Sunday for up to 24 hours. A guide says valet is about $40 and is at the LINQ Promenade and High Roller valet, not at the hotel itself. Check current rates, and ask about free parking if you hold Caesars Rewards status.

  • Use the Monorail. The Harrah's/The LINQ station is at the back of the two hotels and is reached indoors by a walkway. See our Las Vegas Monorail guide.

  • From the airport: The LINQ is in taxi Zone 3, a flat fare of $29.25 plus fees in 2026. Our airport to the Strip guide has the details.

  • Book a bundle if you want both rides. A High Roller and FLY LINQ day combo was listed at about $55 in 2026. Military and local discounts may apply, so check when you book.

  • FLY LINQ rules: riders need to be at least 40 inches tall and no more than 300 lb, according to one 2026 guide. Hours were listed as daily from noon to 9:30 pm, with last entry 30 minutes before closing. Confirm before you go.

  • Time your High Roller visit. A 30-minute ride is long for a casual stop. Hours in guides run from around noon to midnight, later on Friday and Saturday, with the last ride about 30 minutes before close. Check hours when you book.

  • More at this location: open The LINQ on the map and tap "More at this location" to see its restaurants, bars and shops. Harrah's and Flamingo are a short walk away.
