A sense of the place
Planet Hollywood Las Vegas sits on the east side of the center Strip at 3667 Las Vegas Blvd S, on the site of the old Aladdin. The Aladdin opened here in 1966, Elvis and Priscilla Presley married there in 1967, and the second Aladdin, built in 2000, was renamed Planet Hollywood in 2007. Caesars Entertainment has run it since 2010.
Today it has about 2,500 rooms and suites in a 39-story tower, a casino with around 80 table games, and a lot of entertainment for its size: the 7,000-seat PH Live, Criss Angel MINDFREAK and Chippendales. The Miracle Mile Shops wrap around the whole building, so you walk through a mall to reach almost anything.
Paris Las Vegas is the next-door neighbor to the north, and The Cosmopolitan faces it across the boulevard. Planet Hollywood suits people who want a lively, central and usually cheaper base than the luxury resorts, with shows and food on site. If you want calm, quiet halls and big gardens, it's not the best fit.
What to look for
Miracle Mile Shops: a mall of about 500,000 square feet that loops for about 1.2 miles around the resort, with more than 150 stores and restaurants. Recent arrivals include POP MART, Ron Jon Surf Shop and Rocket Fizz, with Pizza Rodizio and Sourdough & Co due in fall 2026.
The rain show: a free indoor show of thunder, lightning, fog and rain under the mall's painted sky. Find it on the map as the Rain Show.
PH Live: a 7,000-seat theater booked with Live Nation for residencies, concerts and one-off nights. Check what's on for your dates.
Planet Hollywood shows: Criss Angel MINDFREAK has its own theater, and the male revue Chippendales moved into its own theater here in 2025.
Dining: Gordon Ramsay Burger, Strip House, P.F. Chang's and Caramella, an Italian restaurant and lounge with a terrace over the Strip that replaced Koi. Pin-Up Pizza sells some of the largest slices on the Strip, cut from 30-inch pies.
The Scene Pool Deck: two pools, one for all ages and one for 21 and over, with cabanas and a FlowRider wave simulator. Find it on the map as The Scene Pool Deck.

Mall hours: the Miracle Mile Shops have been open about 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday in 2026. Some stores and restaurants keep their own hours.
No poker room: the poker room closed after January 31, 2026, and Caesars moved poker to Caesars Palace and Horseshoe.
Getting there: the nearest Monorail stop is the Horseshoe / Paris station, behind Horseshoe, a walk of several minutes past Paris. See our Las Vegas Monorail guide.
From the airport: Planet Hollywood is in taxi Zone 2, a flat fare of $25.25 plus fees in 2026. Our airport to the Strip guide has the details.
Free things to do: the rain show, the painted-sky mall and people-watching on the Strip-front plaza cost nothing.
